Turkey
Turkey spreads over two continents as it occupies a small part of Mediteranean Europe and a larger part of western Asia. The country has outlets to the Black, Aegean and Mediterranean Seas and features fantastic beach resorts. Besides sunbathing, tourists have much to see in terms of history & culture, as well as shopping and eating. The Turkish cuisine is rich, a lovely combination of Arabic, Mediterranean and Caucasian styles. Beef, lamb, spices, bulgur are all very tasty. The desserts, however, are unsurpassable: baklava, Turkish delight and mahallebi, which wouldn't be complete without a cup of strong Turkish coffee. The top destinations in Turkey include its capital, Ankara, glorious Istanbul and the fastest-growing city, Antalya.
