CORDOBA
Founded in Roman times, the Andalucian city of Cordoba has always been a principal trade centre, where interaction between different cultures has taken place for centuries. El Ponte Romano, the Roman Bridge over the river Guadalquivir, is still one of the city`s most recognizable landmarks. Cordoba grew to even greater prominence in the Middle Ages, when it was the capital of the Moorish kingdom of El-Andaluz. The Cordoba of today is a wonderful blend of old and new, and definitely one of Spain`s most fascinating cities. Here are some of its nicest hotels.
